    Hi there! We updated our favicon recently-ish (within the past six months), but it's had a persistent blurry border. Today I tried with a larger image (96x96), and then a medium-sized one (32x32), but each one is reduced to something that's quite blurry when viewed in a browser.

    What can we do to get a nice crisp favicon for ourselves?

    I'm inclined to think that this is related to the quality of the original image, but I'm going to see if one of our moderators can confirm this.

    I am inclined to think Jessie might be right. Do you have a high resolution SVG or PNG of the icon you can send me? I can try and make a non-blurry version for you... Send it to me at carsten(a)

    This has to do with the quality and sharpness of the original .ico file

    Mine is very sharp and I am using a 256x256 icon with transparent background

    Thanks for your questions — I have an SVG which I couldn't use directly (an indication of which filetypes are accepted would be a great addition to the settings page), and I had a high-enough-seeming resolution PNG file (310x310: a favicon is very small, after all!).

    In the end, generating a `.ico` file through an online tool made all the difference (the two image programs I have on my computer won't do `.ico`). It's now beautifully crisp!

    Are we able to set different favicons for the customer-facing (Guide) and internal (Agent) sections of ZenDesk? Our agents usually have a lot of tabs open, and the favicon looks similar to the one used on several other company sites.

    Hi Allen! Welcome to the Community!

    If I understand your question correctly, you want to know if you can have one favicon for the agent interface, and a different one for the Help Center. If that's right, then yes!

    You can add or change the favicon in the agent interface by going to your admin menu (gear icon), and scrolling down to Settings. Click on Account; you should be on the Branding tab by default. The third section is where you can update your favicon for the agent interface.

    To change the favicon in Help Center, go to your Guide Settings and click on the eye icon in the tool bar on the left. This will take you to the Customize design settings. Click on the theme you want to edit, and then click on Brand. The second option is where you can add or change the favicon that will display on Help Center tabs.

    Removing this logo in Zendesk is currently not possible in the base product. I would recommend sharing this post in our Support Product Feedback forums so our devs can consider this change.
